Our luxury adults-only accommodation has been specifically designed to offer superior comfort and charm. With a boutique safari style tent, all the way from South Africa, you’ll experience a unique way to holiday right beneath the starry sky. Every aspect of this space has been well thought out, from the interior design by Wackrow Studio which transports you to another time and place, to the eco-friendly utilities which uses solar power in a bid to keep our footprint on the land as small as possible. Expect a seamless blend of modern commodities with a nostalgic touch of yester-year. This is tent-living at its finest, in a way you’ve never experienced before.

2 Queen Beds

Master Bedroom

A gorgeous space to rest your weary head. Custom made bedside tables crafted from old Totara wood from the farm bring the outside, in. But the main attraction is the stunning four-poster bed which is draped in light linens for added privacy. The bed itself is made up with 100% cotton linens and there are robes on hand, and a blanket box for extra warmth if needed. With openings onto the deck, you can laze around in the morning and breathe in the country air at the same time. Trust us, you might find it hard to get out of bed!

Living Room

There is no better place to curl up with a good book and relax in peace than the soft and snug living room. Complete with a luxury leather original Chesterfield couch, cane seating and comfortable side chairs the space is filled with cushions and throws so you really can make yourself at home. An overhead fan will keep you cool in summer, but its reverse switch will bring heat in winter. Put your feet up on chilly nights and relax in front of the fire, or venture out onto the deck where you’ll be treated to views of the property. Every aspect has been thoughtfully added, with an outdoor blanket box for star gazing, and fly nets on all the windows to keep pesky insects at bay. And don’t worry, even if you don't plan to completely switch off from reality, there is also a plug for charging your phone and computer!

Day Bed / Additional Bedroom

If you require a little more space, there is an additional bed in the living room. This rattan style bed, with an Ecosa mattress, is perfect if there are more people staying with you or if you’re alone, to use as a day bed. Like the master bedroom, it is fitted with 100% cotton linens with a timeless wardrobe nestled in the corner.

Interior Design

Styled by Sacha Wackrow of Wackrow Studio this space oozes old world colonial living with just a hint of safari. Each area has been designed to effortlessly tie together, making the main tent, the bathroom and the kitchen work as one large harmonious space. Every detail has been carefully chosen and curated to evoke a sense of grandeur while transporting you into a world of luxury. The nostalgic ambience will make you feel like you’ve left your life behind and stepped into an old postcard

The Main Tent

The luxury Kambaku tent from Exclusive Tents truly is one of a kind. To date, we are the only glamping site in New Zealand to house one of their architectural creations. After researching the market, we chose to work with them as we love the glamour of their tents and they boast the best specifications in terms of strength, canvas quality, and weather durability. The 50m² tent is also fully insulated, meaning it’ll keep you warm in winter and cool in the summer. The flooring is insulated as well.
